Jesus, King of All Kings

My Boss is Jesus by Galen D. Herbic Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.1 Peter 4:10 Working from a virtual office, I often experience odd glances and confusing questions about how I earn an income. I dress professional most the time; however with a flexible schedule depending on prospect and client meetings I sometimes have a dedicated “work from home” day. One thing is for certain, I’ve developed a mentality that I truly use gifted skill sets to work for Jesus. This inspires me to blend volunteer service with a corporate sales career. Jesus is The Boss so that whatever I have and will receive is really of Him and for His kingdom.  My adopted children understand although daddy doesn’t work in a church building, he’s behaving as Jesus commands. From my experience, all children need this guidance, especially adopted children who require more direction at times. It seems the emotional stabilit

Teachers Appreciation: Adopting Our Teachers

Teachers Appreciation: Adopting Our Teachers by Teresa J. Herbic Be still and know that I am God! Psalm 46:10, NIV Teachers are forever influences in children’s lives.   Breast Cancer Healing: God's Remedy Rocky takes a hiatus from boxing to stay by Adrian’s side and take care of his wife. When she awakes, he is right there next to her. They chat, and Rocky tells her he’s going to quit boxing as she didn’t want him to continue anyway. Then, she looks at him after waking from a coma and says the most inspirational thing: “There’s one thing I want you to do for me: WIN!” I played that scene over and over in my mind, “WIN!” \Breast Cancer Healing: God's Remedy That’s what we have to do is pivot our mind from being down and out to victory. Sometimes, I replay the scene of the crucifixion where Jesus was dying on the cross for our sins. Jesus paid the ultimate price. He claimed the Ultimate Win, although for Him it a torturous, pure bloody, and horrifying suffering. \For us, it became victory as He died for our sins and rose again. With Our Savior, through Him and His shed blood on the cross, we too can Win. After finding out the diagnosis of BC,
