Freeing the Mind with Prayer

“Sometimes it’s the detours in life that help us get back

on track within ourselves and with one another.” – Teresa J. Herbic

Although humans may prefer an unwavering path, I don’t mind the occasional detour. There’s something to be said about taking a short diversion from a long, tedious road.

Life is a series of activities, responsibilities, and expectations. Because of this constant, daily pressure, it's good to take an occasional detour in order to find ourselves again.

When you discover you are in a Ground Hog Day moment, try a new activity, take a walk somewhere you've never walked, do something you've never tried before to refresh your mind and renew your very soul.

I challenge you to do this in conjunction with prayer and to do so more often than not and see where life takes you! God bless!
